PALMYRA - Rhoda F. (Bragg) Watson, 47, died August 6, 2001 at her Route 100 residence. She was born October 18, 1953 at Hartland the daughter of Percy and Fern (Rice) Bragg. She had worked in a local shoe shop, but was most recently employed by the Cianbro Corporation in Pittsfield; where she truly enjoyed working. She liked traveling, cooking, shopping, and spending time with her husband and their special companion, Shelby, her little Papillion dog. She was predeceased by her father, Percy Bragg, and a brother, Gordon Bragg.

In addition to her mother of Pittsfield, she is survived by her husband William "Bill" Watson of Palmyra; a daughter Angela Watson of Waterville; and two sisters: her beloved and special sister, Beulah Wyman, and Beverly Richardson, both of Palmyra; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Friday at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, August 11th, at the Newport Full Gospel Church, with the Rev. G. Martin Gentzler, Pastor of the First Church of The Nazarene, Bangor, officiating. Burial will be in Palmyra Village Cemetery. Floral arrangements are welcome, or memorial donations may be made in her memory to Cancer Care of Maine, care of Eastern Maine Charities, Box 404, Bangor 04402. Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
