ROBERT B. BROWN, SR.
CANAAN - Robert B. Brown, Sr., 75, died June 10, 2009 at his residence. He was born May 2, 1934 in Winslow, a son of Perley and Margaret (Larracey) Brown. He was a self-employed woodsman , enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of the Brownville Masons.

He is survived by his son, Robert and wife Jean Brown, Jr. of Brownville; 3 daughters, Deborah and husband Jack Damon of Madison, Alabama, Patricia and husband Sheridan McKenzie of Brownville, and Gale Hibbard of Pittsfield; 2 brothers, Wilbur and wife Carline Brown of Homosassa, Florida and Charles Brown of Waterville; 2 sisters, Barbara Pelotte of Clinton and Ruby and husband Larry Courtwright of Benton; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, George and a sister, Isabell Gurney.

Graveside funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Saturday, June 13th at the Brownville Village Cemetery. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport. Those who wish may sign an online guest register and leave written tributes at www.CrosbyNeal.com.
