ROBERT J. LARABEE
GREENVILLE and BREWER Robert J. Larabee, 70, died at Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor, Dec. 1, 2001. He was born Aug. 27, 1931, in Greenville, the son of William R. and Madeline Larabee.He served his county in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for Great Northern Paper Company as a Road Foreman for 40 years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting. He was a loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by a dear friend, Amy Nelson of Watervillle; one son, Robert W. Larabee of Brewer; one daughter, Valerie Ann Larabee of Salt Lake City, Utah, four grandchildren, one brother, Clayton Larabee of Connecticut; and one sister, Lorena Saxer of Florida, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Myrle and William "Bud" Larabee.

A time of visitation will be held from 12-2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001, at McCrory Funeral Home, Greenville. Funeral services will follow visitation at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the family lot in Greenville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
