ROBERT J. TARR
GUILFORD- Robert J. Tarr, 68, died March 14, 2011, at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft. He was born July 22, 1942, in Guilford, son of Birchie and Doris (Clifford) Tarr.

He worked for many years at Hardwood Products Company in Guilford, retiring 3 years ago.

Bob served in the Guilford Fire Department, and was a member of the Parkman Prowlers ATV Club, and the Big Buck Club. He loved animals and enjoyed feeding the deer in back of his house.

He is survived by 2 brothers and their wives, Harley and Janet Tarr of Guilford, and George and June Tarr of Sangerville; 3 sisters and their husbands, Lois and John Smart of E. Holden, Nancy and Basil Patterson of Abbot, and Ann and David Parsons of Troy; a son, John Moore of Dover-Foxcroft; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; a special cousin and friend, Dale Perigo of Parkman; many special friends; and his special cat, Kitty.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Friday, March 18, 2011, at the Guilford United Methodist Church, with Pastor Stephen Dean officiating. Friends may call from noon until the time of the service. Spring burial will be in the Lawn Cemetery in Guilford,.
