OBITUARIES

ROBERT L. CRAY, JR.
PALMYRA—Robert L. Cray, Jr., 54, died unexpectedly June 1, 2011 at his residence. He was born December 9, 1956 in Waterville, a son of Robert and Marion (McLaughlin) Cray, Sr. He graduated from Nokomis Regional High, Class of 1975. Bobby was a self-employed carpenter and floor installer for all of his life.

He married the former Rhonda (Hosea) February 25, 1982, in Florida. In 1988 they moved back to Maine. His hobbies were fishing and hunting. He was a member of the Jubilee Family Worship Center in Newport. Bobby loved God, his family, and others. He will be remembered as a great father, and a wonderful, loving husband. He took great pride in the care of his parents and family.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by his children, Robert Cray III and Rachael Cray; a grandson, Matthew Cray; a sister, Velma and her husband Carl Palmer, all of Palmyra; 2 brothers, Richard Cray, Sr. and wife Carol of Hartland and Ronald Cray of Nassau, NY; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his parents-in-law, Mark and Madoline Hosea of Ocala, FL. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Myles and Fern Cray and his grandparents-in-law, Frank and Anna Hosea.

Funeral services will be held with funeral 11 AM Monday, June 6th. at the Jubilee Family Worship Center, 163 Elm Street, Newport with the Rev. Scott Black and Pastor Brian Woodbury officiating. Burial will be in the Palmyra Village Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the church building fund, 163 Elm Street, Newport, ME 04953.
