MILES He is survived by his wife, Roberta (Pratt) Miles of Guilford; 2 sons and their wives, Richard and Sue Miles of CT, and Robert A. and Brenda Miles of OH; a daughter and her husband, Patricia and Blaine Burhoe Jr. of Abbot; a sister, Lala; several grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM, Friday October 23, 2009 at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak Street in Guilford. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, October 24th at the E. GUILFORD- Robert L. Miles, 83, died October 21, 2009, at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. He was born July 8, 1926, in E. Millinocket, son of Allan and Lala (Vance) Miles. He served in both the US Army and the US Navy and served in the Pacific Theater during WWII. He worked at several mills in Connecticut, and later
after moving to Maine he worked as a janitor at Husson College in Bangor. He enjoyed fishing, camping and especially playing his guitar.
