OBITUARIES

ROBERT L. YEO
DEXTER- Robert L. Yeo, 81, died February 25, 2011 at his home in Dexter. He was born in Dexter, May 24, 1929, son of James and Marion (Folsom) Yeo.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was awarded the Bronze Star. For many years he worked as a millwright and as a carpenter in Maine and throughout the country. He was a 50 year member of the Penobscot Masonic Lodge in Dexter, and a member of the Anah Shrine in Bangor.

In later years, Robert and his wife enjoyed many winters in Florida and summers in Dexter.

He is survived by 2 sons, David Yeo and his wife, Judy of Glenburn, and Dale Yeo and his wife, Ivy of Pittsfield; seven grandchildren, Nicole and her husband, Matt Fisher of Bangor, Tedda Yeo of Portland, Tyler Yeo and his wife, Sarah of Gardiner, Zach Yeo of Glenburn, Robbie Yeo and his wife, Jessie of Guilford, Ryan Yeo of Guilford, and Adam Badger of Pittsfield; one great grandson, Masyn Allen; and a sister, Alta Sawyer of Florida.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dorothy (Powers) Yeo; and a sister, Norma Sprague.

Special thanks to Diane Perkins and Trudy Levensalor for their professional and loving care. The family would also like to thank Robert's special friend, Bob Larochelle.

At his request, graveside services with military honors will be held in the spring at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 51 U. S. Route 1, Suite M, Scarborough, Maine 04074, or to the Shriners Burn Center, c/o Anah Shrine, P.O. Box 735, Bangor, Maine 04402-0735.
