ROBERT N. MARCIA, II He was a founder of the Wheelchair Sports Association of Maine and played wheelchair basketball with the Maine Wheelers. An avid sports enthusiast, he also coached basketball at the grade school and high school levels. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Skowhegan, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his mother of Pittsfield; a daughter, Amber Marcia, fiancé Chris Smart, and their son, Christopher Robert Smart, all of Norridgewock; 2 sisters, Penny Dana of Pittsfield, Susie and husband Ken MacDonald of Bowdoinham; many nieces and nephews; as well as many friends. He was predeceased by his father Robert Marcia, Sr., who died July 6, 2008. A memorial service will be held 11 A.M. Friday, December 4th at the Canaan Calvary Church, Rte 2, in Canaan, with Pastor Gary York officiating. Graveside committal services will be held following the memorial service at 1 P.M. at Riverside Cemetery, Newport. Arrangements are by www.CrosbyNeal.com.
