OBITUARIES

ROGER T. ST. PETER
veteranCORINNA Roger T. St. Peter, 82, of Sunshine Village, died January 17, 2002 at the Maine Veterans Home in Bangor. He was born January 13, 1920 at St. John Plantation, the son of Dannie and Febrini (Jeandreau) St. Pierre. He graduated from Caribou High School, Class of 1937, and served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during WWII. On January 12, 1942, Roger married the former Ruby Bellmain. They moved to Corinna in 1947, where he was employed as manager of the Fred Ray Farms. He was later employed at Eastland Woolen Mill, retiring in 1974. He will be remembered as an avid gardener.

In addition to his wife of Corinna, he is survived by 2 sons, Roger, Jr. and wife Claire of Pittsfield, Ricky and wife Patricia of Corinna; a daughter, Bonnie Bartlett and her husband Gary of Detroit; 3 sisters-in-law, Dorothy St. Peter of Bangor, Madeline St. Peter of Florida, and Marianne St. Peter of New York; 3 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

At his request there will be no services at this time. Spring interment will be in Morses Corner Cemetery, Corinna. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 346, Augusta, ME 04330. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna.
