ROGER W. "GEE" WINTLE
DEXTER- Roger W. “Gee” Wintle, 75, died April 12, 2011, at a Pittsfield hospital. He was born December 17, 1935, in Dexter, son of Charles and Marion (Clukey) Wintle. Roger served honorably for several years in the US Air Force, returning home early to assist his family. A lifelong resident of this area, he worked for many years at Dexter Shoe Company in Dexter. Roger was an outstanding athlete, and was a long time sports enthusiast, and loved going his children’s and grandchildren’s games.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Wilma (Sinclair) Wintle of Dexter; 2 daughters, Michelle McMillan and Lisa Wintle, both of Wells; a son, David Wintle of Dexter; 2 brothers, James and Robert, both of Dexter; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; good friend and cousin, Richard Clukey and his wife, Martha of Dexter; and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 1 PM, Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Ferndale Cemetery in Ripley, with Pastor Will Walters officiating.
