RONALD A. MARSH He served in the U.S. Army for 30 years. In Viet Nam he served with the Green Berets and was a Ranger during the Korean Conflict. As a result of his service he received the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart, retiring from the Army in 1987 with the rank of Command Sergeant Major. After the service he worked for Veteran's Services, retiring in 1998. He is survived by his wife, of 50 years, Josephine (O'Leary) Marsh of Greenville; a brother and his wife, Tom and Nancy O'Brien of VA; sisters-in-law, Barbara Travis and Ellie O'Leary, both of MA; and a brother-in-law, Daniel O'Leary of NH; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Ronald Marsh Jr., and a daughter, Ellen Marsh. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the Greenville Chapel of Crosby & Neal, at the Masonic Building in Greenville.
