OBITUARIES

ROSCOE ALFRED WILSON
EAST CORINTH - Roscoe Alfred Wilson, 76, died June 25, 2004, at his residence. He was born Feb. 25, 1928, in Guilford, the son of William Garfield and Margaret Ellen (Dunn) Wilson. Bud was a member of the Queen City Grange, Penobscot Pomona, Maine State Grange, and National Grange. He was also a member of the Paul Bunyan Chapter No. 12 Good Sam Camping Club.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nellie G. (Tozier) Wilson of East Corinth; three sons, Russell A. retired Navy, Timothy O. Wilson, both of East Corinth and Michael D. Wilson of Bangor; one grandson, Tony O. Wilson of Stetson; one sister, Arlene Mayo of Hampden; one brother, William G. Wilson of Wisconsin; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by one sister, Dorothy McLaughlin.

Family and friends are invited to a Draping of the Charter 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2004, at the Bangor Grange Hall, 1192 Ohio St., Bangor. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments following the services Wednesday at the Bangor Grange Hall. Gifts in his memory may be sent to American Diabetes Association, Maine Affiliate, 163 Lancaster St., Portland, ME 04101. A service of Brookings-Smith, Bangor.
