ROSE D. HICHBORN
SEBEC - Rose D. Hichborn, 85, wife of the late Ivan E. Hichborn, died Nov. 27, 2000, at a Dexter health care facility. She was born Oct. 4, 1915, in Winterville, the daughter of William and Julia (Gagnon) Nicknair. Rose was a member of the Sebec Grange and St. Paul's Catholic Church in Milo.

She is survived by a son, Clyde Hughes of Sebec; a daughter, Joyce Burton of Sebec; two brothers, Ivan Nicknair of So. Windsor, Conn. and Father Harold Nicknair of Portland; four sisters, Blanche Guimont of So. Portland, Violet Nichols of Connecticut, Bernadette Clavette of So. Portland, Lilly McKeeman of Hanover, Mass.; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Paul Nicknair.

Friends are invited to call from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000, at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo. A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2000, at St. Paul's Catholic Church with Fr. James Robichaud and Fr. Harold Nicknair, celebrants. Burial will be in the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery, Milo.
