RUTH E. HUGHES
DEXTER AND CORINNA, Ruth E. Hughes, 90, died June 15, 2002 at a Dexter health care facility. She was born September 15, 1911 in Corinna, daughter of Milton and Edna Wingate. She graduated from Corinna Union Academy and was a self-employed seamstress. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Messiah in Dexter, and the St. Albans Grange.

She is survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Ernest, and sisters, Clarabelle Gudroe and Irene Alieff.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Wednesday, June 19, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Chapel, 68 Exeter Rd., Corinna with Rev. Nancy Moore officiating. Friends may call at the funeral chapel from noon until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Nutter Cemetery in Corinna.
