OBITUARIES

STANLEY H. BOYLAN
NEWPORT & ARLINGTON, TEXAS Stanley Henry Boylan, 79, died June 22, 2001 at a Fort Worth, Texas hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was born December 31, 1921 at Newport, Maine the son of Frank and Glennie (Langley) Boylan. He graduated from Newport High School, Class of 1939, and served in the U. S. Army during World War II. Stanley owned and operated a lawn care business for the past 17 years in Arlington, Texas until his retirement. Prior to moving to Texas, he worked as an auto machinist at Darling's in Bangor, Maine. Stan never met a stranger. Family and friends will miss him dearly.

He was predeceased by his father, Frank Boylan; his mother, Glennie Langley Boylan; sister, Lucille Gregoire; and four infant children. He is survived by his children, Penny Boylan, Jeffrey and wife Cathy Boylan, Carol and husband Carey Pippen; grandchildren, Toby Boylan, Christopher Boylan and wife Lisa,Shawn Boylan, Cara Boylan, Tiffany Boylan, Hillary Boylan and Colby Pippen; and a great grandchild, Hayley Boylan, all of Arlington, Texas; a brother Lauris Boylan of Newport, Maine; 6 sisters, Muriel Boylan of Bangor, Maine, Linda Boylan, Karlene Boylan, Arlene Mullis, Jean Beem, and Lorraine Stone, all of Newport, Maine; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday at North Davis Church of Christ in Arlington, Texas. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Boylan, Toby Boylan, Carey Pippen, Shawn Boylan, Ed Kersen and Tony Hernandez. Friends may call from 7- 8 P.M. Friday, June 29th, at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport. A graveside service will be held 11 A.M. Saturday at the family lot, Riverside Cemetery, Newport, with Pastor Al H. Worden officiating. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
