Stanly Shorey
LEVANT & DIXMONT – Stanly Shorey, 75, died September 9, 2012 at his residence with family and his dog Koby at his side. He was born December 26, 1936 in Dixmont, a son of Erman and Minnie Pearl (Corey) Shorey. He was a Korean War veteran and had been a foreman in area woolen mills. Stanly was predeceased by his wife Eva in 2010.

He is survived by 2 sons, Anthony and wife Valerie, and Terry and wife Melanie, both of Levant 1 sister, Gloria Orcutt of Dixmont; 3 grandchildren, Joshua and wife Melissa, Jason, and Anthony, Jr. and wife Melissa; 3 great grandchildren, Benjamin, Emily and Hannah.

Private burial at Dixmont Corner Cemetery.
