Terence “Ted” Cochran
NEWPORT – Terence T. Cochran, 79, died January 14, 2008 at a Pittsfield hospital. He was born June 16, 1928 at Corinna a son of Terence and Ida (Harville) Cochran. He worked for Alco Electric until his retirement in 1990. Ted moved to Newport in 1991.

He is survived by a son Terence Lewis Cochran of Perham; 2 daughters, Tami Bancroft of New Hampshire and Diana Doody of Mapleton; a brother Norman Murray of Bangor; sister, Sylvia Goins of Alabama; 6 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, including a very special niece and nephew, Bryan and Donna Cochran of Corinna. He was predeceased by a brother, Byron Cochran and 2 sisters, Madeline Hill and Gloria Zieseniss.

Friends may call from 6- 8 PM Thursday at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, where funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, January 18th, with Pastor George Finnemore officiating. Spring burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Newport.
