THERESA C. LAVIGNE
ORONO and GREENVILLE Theresa C. Lavigne, 74, died Feb. 26, 2002, at her home in Orono, after a long illness, with her family and friends at her side. She was born in Brassua, Jan. 28, 1928, the daughter of Antonio and Eugenie (Beaudoin) Goulet. Theresa lived most of her life in Greenville and was a communicant of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Greenville. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and a dedicated homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Patrick Lavigne and his wife, Marsha of Brunswick, Michael Lavigne and his wife, Debra of Georgia; six daughters, Gladys Swett and her husband, Kenneth of Carmel, Priscilla Jewett and her husband, Paul of Northeast Harbor, Denise Gary and her husband, Jeff of Carmel, Cheryl Caron of Dover-Foxcroft, Caryl Baird and her husband, Bruce of Dover-Foxcroft, and Karen Lavigne of Bangor; one daughter-in-law, Janice Lavigne of Lily Bay; one brother, Danny Goulet and his wife, Gloria of Greenville; one sister, Muriel Audette of Gardiner; 26 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 16 nieces and nephews, 28 grandnieces and grandnephews. Special friends, Bertha Mahon, Dr. Lisa Buck; and neighbor, Diane. Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; son, Dennis; sister, Jacolyn Nadeau; brother, Phillip Goulet; and her parents. Friends may call at the Greenlawn Memorial Funeral Home, 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, March 1, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Orono. Burial will be at Greenville Cemetery, in the spring.
