Thomas Joseph Courtney He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969. Thomas was an officer in the corporate trust department of Morgan Guarantee Trust, and later head of the corporate trust department of Mizuho Trust & Banking, both of New York City. He was a Catholic communicant and attended St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan. He was predeceased by his mother, Albertina, in 1998 (one of the Dexter Goulettes), his father, Tom, in 1981, and his sister Jean Theresa, who died in 1949. He is survived by a sister, Kathleen Spreen, brothers Gerard & Dean, and nieces, Deborah, Christine, Deana, Lisamarie, Breanna, Annamaria and Courtney. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Monday, at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main Street, Dexter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, April 10th, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 64 Free Street, Dexter. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
