THURLEY S. KNOWLES
MONSON Thurley S. Knowles, 92, wife of the late Manford D. Knowles, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 11, 2006 at a local health care facility. She was born on August 25, 1913, the daughter of Phyllis Pennington and Frank Steward. She lived most of her life in the Monson area and retired from Hardwood Products in Guilford where she had worked for 43 years. Besides her husband and parents, Thurley was predeceased by her sisters, Mim and Weezie.

She is survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins, and will be especially missed by her niece and husband, Jill and Buddy Ward, and nephews Jayson, Andrew, and Adam Hunt and their families.

There will be no services at this time, but a time of remembrance will be held at a later date. Donations in her memory may be sent to Julie Anderson, Town Office, P.O.
