VIRGINIA M. COOLEY ANDREWS
DEXTER - Virginia M. Cooley Andrews, 85, wife of Henry L. Andrews, died Jan. 17, 2002, at her residence. She was born April 13, 1916, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Charles and Gladys (Davis) Lanpher. She worked for many years in a local nursing home, and a local pizza house.

She is survived by her husband, Henry of Dexter; a son, Rufus and his wife, Janice Cooley of Ripley; two daughters, Eleanor Beatham of Michigan, and Betty and her husband, Ted Richards of Dexter; two stepdaughters, Kim Andrews of Dover-Foxcroft, Christine Merrill of Medford; two stepsons, Richard and his wife, Mary Andrews of Virginia, Duffy Andrews of Troy; two brothers, Herbert and his wife, Julia Lanpher of Florida, Omar Lanpher of Massachusetts; two sisters, Marion Farrenkopf of Dexter, Inez Holt of Sangerville; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Coburn Cooley; a daughter, Evelyn Thompson; two sons-in-law, Dalton Beatham, and Albert Thompson.

Spring burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft.
