WALTER HENRY WELCOME
DOVER-FOXCROFT- Walter Henry Welcome, 82, died February 17, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. He was born March 21, 1928, in Billerica, MA, son of Joseph and Mary (Ager) Welcome.

Walter attended school in Billerica and later took classes at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was a fine craftsman, mechanic, and carpenter, and was known to buy old houses that he and his wife restored. He was also an artist and drew many fine sketches.

He was predeceased by his wife, Una (Marks) Welcome in 2003.

He is survived by a step-son, Ronald A. Coy Jr. of Peabody, MA; 2 daughters, Rhonda M. Welcome of Guilford, and Sherry L. Beatham and her husband, Scott of Sangerville; a daughter-in-law, Elaine Coy of MA; grandchildren, Carrie Bryk and her husband, Rich of MA, Tyler Farnham, Ryan Farnham, and Samantha Beatham, all of Sangerville, Joshua Flint of NH, Shannon Flint of Boothbay, Dustin Flint of Portland, and Terran Welcome of Guilford; 2 great granddaughters, Anna Bryk of MA, and Khloe Farnham of Sangerville; a sister, Hazel Mariani of MA; several nieces and nephews; and loving neighbors.
