WILMOT "TOM" GRAY, JR.
TROY—Wilmot L. Gray, Jr. 89, died February 26, 2007 at a Pittsfield health care facility. He was born June 14, 1917 in Troy, a son of Wilmot and Grace (Cunningham) Gray, Sr. He graduated from Unity High School, Class of 1934, attended officer training school and served as a First Lieutenant in the U. S. Army during WWII. Tom was a well known area dairy farmer. He was a 60 year member of the Star in The West #85 AF & AM, a member of the Farm Bureau, the Seven Star Grange, and the Benjamin Berry Post American Legion.

He is survived by a son, Peter Gray, and a nephew, Robert and wife Sheila Gray, all of Troy; as well as several cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, Beth (Stone) Gray, in 1978.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 P.M. Wednesday at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, where funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Thursday, March 1st, with the Rev. George Darling officiating.
