OBITUARIES

WINONA WILDER ROBERTS
BANGOR, Winona Wilder Roberts, passed peacefully into the hands of the Lord, Sept. 21, 2001 at the Penobscot Nursing Home. She was born in Washburn, daughter of Clifford and Marcella (Brewer) Wilder. She was predeceased by her husband Dana L. Roberts and a son Malan W. Roberts. Mrs. Roberts was a retired Real Estate Broker and Paralegal for Judge DeWolfe and several law firms. She was a member of Christ Methodist Church in Lancaster, NH, where she and her family resided for several years and where she and her husband were active in church and civic affairs. She was a member of the Service Corps of Retired Executives, AARP/VOTE, and Pembroke Historical Society.

She is survived by her son, Lloyd Clifford Roberts of Dexter; a sister, Adele Whittier of Bangor; four grandchildren, Jennifer Karen Roberts and her fiancé, Peter Houlihan of Hadley, Mass., Lloyd Gray Roberts and his wife Hollie both serving in the USAF in NC, William A. Davis of Portland and Robert A. Davis of Otter Creek; nieces and nephews. Lovingly remembered by Judy A. Davis of Otter Creek and Rosemarie Carter of Dexter and Pat and Frank Weston and family of Cape Elizabeth. Winona is also fondly remembered by the staff of the Penobscot Nursing Home.

Graveside services will be held Saturday Sept. 29th at 1 PM at the Summer Street Cemetery in Lancaster, NH, with the Rev. Curtis Smith and her son, Lloyd Roberts officiating. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Dexter.
