Zelma Anita Stevens She graduated from the Greenville High School, class of 1942. Zelma was very active in local affairs. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Monson, a lifetime member of Susie Carr Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 181 in Sangerville, the Sunshine Club, and the Monson Historical Society. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles W. Stevens, a son, Robert F. Stevens, and a granddaughter, Heidi R. Nelson. She is survived by 2 sons, Kent R. Stevens; and Charles A. Stevens and his wife, Gail of Newport; a daughter, Julie Nelson and her husband, Dennis of Corinna; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Dagmar Greenleaf of Monson, and Elena Mace of CT; a brother, Bruce Ryder and his wife, Jay of CT; daughter-in-law, Susan Stevens of Monson; nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 2 PM, Monday, February 20, 2012, at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak Street in Guilford, with Pastor Stephen Dean officiating. Friends may call from 1 PM until the time of the service. A spring graveside service will be held 11 AM, May 14, 2012, at the Hillside Cemetery in Monson.
